This was my first visit to "BREWERY KAEN". I stopped by without any prior knowledge, but it was an amazing shop. There was a beer brewery at the back of the shop. On the wall were numerous proofs that the shop has won the number one craft beer competition in Japan. The menu is also very rich, including craft beer, world beer, and draft beer. I wanted to try the best craft beer in Japan, but I had to pass this time because I was driving. I ordered a non-alcoholic wine. For food, I ordered the shop's specialty "Half NY Style Fish & Chips" and "Chicken Thigh Confit". Orders are made by scanning the QR code distributed with each person's smartphone. First, "Salmon with Oil" was served as an amuse-bouche. It also had a smoked flavor. Drink "Bulgarian Rose Sparkle Rose" A non-alcoholic wine made with the finest roses. You can feel the gentle aroma along with the carbonation. It was delicious with a refreshing taste with a moderate sweetness to go with any dish.・"NY Style Fish & Chips Half" One of the restaurant's specialty dishes. It was a hit. The crispy batter and the fluffy and soft white fish that disappeared as soon as you put it in your mouth were very delicious. Of course it was delicious as it was, but it was even more special when eaten with plenty of homemade tartar sauce that had a refreshing aftertaste. The French fries were also fragrant and fried crispy, and went perfectly with the homemade tartar sauce. I ate it all in one go with my hands. ・"Chicken Thigh Confit" Cooked at low temperature, the inside was just the right amount of elasticity and softness, and the outside was baked crispy, and it was thick and satisfying to eat. The saltiness was just right, and the chicken thigh flavor was condensed into a wonderful finish. It was so delicious that I ate it all in one go. Although I didn't order it this time, the mega-grilled domestic Wagyu beef loin looked delicious. Craft beer is also available for takeaway. I would like to try craft beer when I get the chance.
