市電に乗って辛島町で降りて、ぶらぶらしていたら入口に立て掛けてあるメニューの看板に目が止まり、立ち寄ってみました。このあたりには沢山のお店が連なっていますが、郷土料理を食べるにはお手頃の値段のようですね。
階段を上って2階へ。
確かに個室風にブラインドで仕切られています。ただし、個室ではありませんので、隣の席の声が聞こえて大きく聞こえてきます。とても賑やかなお店で、ちょっとうるさいくらいです。
メニューを見ると馬刺しが色々と取り揃えています。あまり馬刺しを食べ慣れない初心者の私には赤身@980円で十分でしょう。他に串盛り@1,000円、海鮮サラダ@580円などを注文。
馬刺しは冷凍してあったものを薄くスライスして出されてきました。まだ、若干凍っているような状態です。暑い時期は、テーブルまで来る間に程よく解凍される感じなんでしょうか？
臭みのない食べやすい馬刺しです。
〆には鯛茶漬け@760円を頂きました。ダシの味が濃過ぎの感じでしたが、もう少し薄味にしたらちょうどいい気がしました。
熊本の料理をお手頃な値段で楽しませて頂きました。
