も五年半香港で暮らした私の職に対するモットーは、「安くて美味しい料理は郊外にある」ですが、このモットーがピタリと熊本の街で当てはまりました。
熊本市電の終点健軍町からさらに歩くこと10分のところに黒酢チキン南蛮定食たかもとや」さんです。
夜7時過ぎに訪問しましたがすんなり店内に。先に券売機でかチケットを購入する仕組み。迷わずこのお店の看板メニュー「チキン南蛮定食」を注文します。
出てきたチキン南蛮定食ですが、チキンのお肉は柔らかくてジューシー。ご飯、味噌汁、サラダの野菜は、おかわり可能です。なんと鶏肉は一晩生姜汁に鶏肉を漬けているようです。タルタルソースはほぼ100%
卵から作ってるとのこと。
目の前に貼ってあるインストラクションの通り、まず、タルタルソースをつけずにいただきます。お店の
自慢の黒酢のソースが爽やかな酸味と仄かな甘さを感じさせます。米粉を加えた衣はカラッと揚がって軽やか。美味いです。
タルタルソースを乗せていただくと、味が変わり卵の円やかさが前面に出る味変。こちらも甲乙つけ難い美味さ。絶品です。
個人的な好みとしては、黒酢ソースだけの方が好みですが、タルタルソースがもったいないので、タルタルソースをつけていただきました。
足で探せば美味しいものはあるもんですね。
