Isola, a long-established Neapolitan pizza restaurant in Shirokane, Tokyo, will open in Kumamoto in April 2021!
ISOLA is a pizzeria known as the pioneer of authentic Neapolitan pizza baked in a wood-fired oven.A trattoria and pizzeria where you can casually enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza and Southern Italian |
After eating some Seafood at the first restaurant, I wandered around the 7th floor of Amu Plaza, looking for a place to have a drink. This is my first visit to this store. Although it is located inside Amu, it faces an atrium and has a stylish and open feel. The dishes we received that day were Bagna Cauda (1,600 yen including tax) and Oven-grilled chicken (1,500 yen). Glass of sparkling wine (980 yen). White wine, Chardonnay (880 yen). Finally, Basque cheesecake. I thought the bagna cauda and oven-roasted vegetables were fresh, sweet, and very delicious. In particular, the oven-roasted Romanesque, broccoli, and green beans were soft and had a strong sweetness. However, the oven-roasted chicken was so tough that my jaw got tired from chewing it...I wonder if the dish was like this. Personally, I would prefer it to be a little more juicy and soft. I visited on this day without any prior information, but it seemed like it was famous for its wood-fired pizza, so if I have a chance, I'd like to try some pizza or pasta next time. Thank you for the meal (^^)
