熊本旅行の際に伺いました。こちらは、熊本県内にある菊南温泉『ユウベルホテル』の中にある会席茶室。座席の設えが素敵です。
会席茶室というと、純和風の料理ばかりの提供かと思っていましたが、西洋料理もありました。和洋折衷という意外さがありましたが、料理は全体的に美味しかったです。お刺身も新鮮でしたし、工夫が見られるものもありました。熊本名物の馬刺しも美味しく、特に、春らしい道明寺桜餅を連想させる御椀は、記憶に残る逸品でした。接客も丁寧で感じがよく、心地よく過ごせました。(ホテル全体というよりは、こちらの『菊泉』のスタッフの方々の心遣いがよかったです。)アルコール類も、リーズナブルで美味しかったです。よいひとときを過ごせました。ごちそうさまでした。ただ、食事の量が少し少なく感じたので、料理の品数がもう少し多いと、なお満足度が上がるかと思いました。
