菊池の市街地から渓谷へ向かう途中にある地鶏焼きのお店。
なかなか一見で辿り着ける立地ではありませんが、平日のお昼でも次々にお客さんのやってくる人気店。
訪問の際は事前予約しておいた方が無難なようです。
百姓家を活かした店舗はとても広々としており、自然に囲まれたロケーションも含めて雰囲気は抜群。
また、炉端ではなくジンギスカン鍋を使って焼くのも特徴です。
今回は、もも肉、せせり、砂肝の地鶏焼きセットと、鴨のたたきを注文。
開店早々に伺ったため、提供までの待ち時間はそれほどありませんでした。
で、メインのお肉ですが、もも肉は地鶏ながら、食感も含め蛋白であっさりな印象。
郊外で地鶏焼きとなると、どうしても山ろくが頭によぎってしまうのですが、特に砂肝とせせりで決定的な差を感じでしまいました。
鴨もたたきだと冷凍スライスでの提供なため、頼むならねぎ焼きの方がよさげ
市内から１時間近くかけて訪れたため、いかんせん期待値が高すぎました。
