もう１０年近くになるだろうか。毎年の記念日や、良いことがあったとき、こちらで祝すことにしている。
鉄板焼は、何となく敷居の高さを感じて敬遠する人が多い。私もかつてはそうだったが、ここでは料理を口にした瞬間、体の力が抜けて、笑顔になる。
京野菜を中心に、選び抜かれた新鮮野菜が中央に置かれ、その色あいは視覚的にも和む。
素材の味を知り尽くすシェフだからこその、絶妙な焼き加減。野菜、海鮮、肉… 鮮やかな色合いと間合いで出されていく。
野菜は本来の甘味が引き出され、オマール海老は、目の前でつくるフレンチソースのアメリケーヌと抜群の相性。そしてこの日のメイン、静岡産と説明された黒毛和牛は、岩塩をちょっぴり付けて頂くと、肉の旨みが口中に広がった。
こだわりのハウスブレンドコーヒーまで、毎年、幸せ時間を頂いている。
