We had dinner at Teppanyaki Toyoen in Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto on the corner of Takatsuji Street and Higashinotoin Street. Teppanyaki Toyoen was once located in this area, where Toyotomi Hideyoshi built his villa Ryugajo, and the famous water that gushed out from the well inside the mansion was named ``Toyoen Water'' and used for tea ceremonies. Teppanyaki Toyoen is said to have taken its name from the name of the local school district, which is associated with the famous water, Toyoen Water. Teppanyaki is a restaurant where various ingredients are carefully grilled on a marble counter. Mainly domestic beef, local vegetables from Kyoto and seafood such as abalone and lobster are served, along with natural salt from France, shichimi from a long-established Kyoto restaurant, wasabi, and special sauces of your choice. This dinner's contents: Appetizer: Sweet sea bream pickled in Nanban Appetizer (3 items) Roasted garlic Red sea bream grilled on a cedar plate (with Saikyo miso and Kujo green onions) Shrimp and scallop grilled in paper wrappers (with shimeji mushrooms and ginkgo nuts) Kuroge Wagyu beef A4 sirloin ( Condiments: Wasabi, Japanese pepper, pepper, 3 types of sauce, mustard) 7 types of seasonal grilled vegetables (Satsuma sweet potato, zucchini, pumpkin, carrot, onion, red turnip, shiitake mushroom) Colorful salad Steamed Chinese cabbage Garlic rice Miso soup Pickles (cucumber, radish, etc.) Dessert (chestnut Ice cream) I ate deliciously while watching the unique performance of fresh herbal Teppan-yaki. Regular Menu (Partial) "Teppanyaki Garlic-Flavored Americane with Canadian Live Lobster and Seasonal Vegetables" ¥3,800 (tax and including a service charge) Nadeshiko courses start from ¥10,000 (tax and including a service charge) Contents of Nadeshiko ○Go Greeting plate ○Appetizer ○Select Steak *Domestic beef fillet (100g) *Domestic beef sirloin (120g) *Kuroge Wagyu beef A-4 fillet (60g) *Kuroge Wagyu beef A-4 sirloin (80g) ○Grilled vegetables ○Colorful salad ○Rice, miso soup, pickles ○Dessert ○Coffee, tea or fresh herbal tea
