出張で泊まりました。京都駅から近いと云う理由のみで、選択しましたが、チェックインの際、ラッキーな気分！
夏の終わりの週末、仕事で一泊する際、移動の関係で京都駅そばの宿を探しました。駅そばに幾つもありますが、真新しいここを選んでくれたのは、旅行代理店の方でした。
チェックインしたのは、夜中の24時過ぎでしたが、魅力あるロビーは際立っていました。この時間にもかかわらず、ロビーのレファレンスルームでは外国人のゲストが旅先の情報を調べています。検索用の端末が二つ、その他、京都のガイド、書籍も充実しています。
レファレンスルームと並んで、大きな魅力なのが大浴場。温泉では無いですが、早朝、大きなお風呂に入るのは、疲れがとれ、気分が晴れます。
そして、最後に云わねばならないのが、美味しい朝食。
京のおばんざいが並ぶバイキングは、なかなかのハイレベル。
ごま豆腐、茄子の煮浸し、縮緬山椒、佃煮、お漬け物、炊き込みご飯 …
野菜、キノコを主とした、優しい味のおかずたち。
お奨めの宿です。
