京都に泊まる時の定宿も飽きたので、家内が大浴場があるビジネスホテルを検索して、どうせ夜は四条河原町まで出かけるので、此方を選びました。
基本情報にHPが無かったので調べたら法華倶楽部のグループでした。
河原町通りと八条通りの交差点の南にホテルはあります。
新幹線八条口から都後7分ぐらい。
午前中の京都について荷物を預け伏見から平等院を回って帰ってきてチェックイン。
フロントの対応は良いです。
荷物を解き放ってから、四条方面に向かおうと河原町通りでタクシーを探していましたが下りはすごい交通量ですが上りはほとんどなし。
仕方なくホテルに戻りフロントからタクシーをお願いしました。
しかし京都のタクシーは安いですね。
八条から河原町通りを北上して2条まで行っても１，２００円前後。
東京だったら２，０００円前後はしそうである。
三条、四条を飲み歩いてタクシーで七条の前から気になっていたラーメン屋に行ったら行列。
それでも並んで食べてホテルに戻り、大浴場で一風呂浴びぐっすり眠れました。
朝は１階のレストランで朝食バイキング。
ビジネスホテルの朝食つきプランは何度も食べましたが、ここの朝食は結構美味しい。
値段も手ごろで京都観光の足には丁度良いホテルでした。
