五条駅から徒歩で7分ほど。細い路地を歩いていくので、京都らしい街並みを左右に目にすることが出来る。店は家のような木造建築で店内もまさに京都といった造り。テーブル席がいくつも置かれ、少し窮屈な感じは受けるが、清潔感があり印象はいい。

○前菜
ポテトサラダにグリーンピースを合わせたもの。
○ガランティーヌ
ユニークな料理で卵が中につまってる。フレンチ料理だが、家庭的で甘味が口の中に広がる。
○とうもろこしのスープ
とにかく塩辛くてこれは飲めない。
○ヒラスズキ
ポルチーニ茸のスープを使ったカプチーノ仕立てで、白身魚と相性がよくて旨い。
○岡山県産牡蠣と合わせたパスタ
ジェノベーゼソースとはまた違った和のソースで斬新で面白い。
○下仁田葱のカルボナーラ
葱が入ったカルボナーラは初めて食べたが興味深い試みだと思った。独特の苦味と卵の甘味が一体となってなかなかいける。
○豚の頬肉
美味しいには美味しいが、豚の脂が少々邪魔していてメインしては弱い。

全体的に塩気が強すぎる印象で、すべての皿でひとつまみ塩を少なくするとグッとよくなるような気がする。独創性に味つけがついていけてない部分がある。
厳しいことを言ったが、このコースと値段を考えれば総合的にまずまずと言えるだろう。気軽にイタリアンを楽しめるので、お勧めだ。
