I was looking for a restaurant that I could make a reservation for the day before, so I called "Tokuo" which I have been to several times, and they said they had a private room available, so I made a reservation right away. I actually wanted to sit at the counter, but they prepared a private room that usually can only be reserved for three or more people! The food was the usual Irodori course. The owner is very nice and friendly. When my friend mentioned that it was her birthday, they prepared a surprise dessert plate! The course food was, of course, delicious. The third dish was a soft-shelled turtle hotpot, as requested. It had a gentle taste that warmed the body! The fourth dish was a fillet Steak made of Kagoshima-produced black-haired wagyu beef. The sun-drenched dish was exquisite, and the meat was lean but soft and delicious! We ate it with wasabi. Everything was delicious, including blackthroat seaperch and guinea pig. The seasoning made the most of the ingredients, and the taste would not have been achieved if the chef had not been very skilled. The last dessert was another surprise dish in addition to the fruit. Soy milk sesame pudding with mango sauce. The chef himself wrote a message on the plate, and my friend was very happy with the surprise! I would definitely like to come again.
