ホントはタイトルを「紅茶の美味しい喫茶店」としたいのですが、すでに使われてる方がおられるようなので・・・
店頭の「世界の紅茶を召し上がれ」の看板にひかれて入ってみました。
店内は分煙されてて、禁煙スペースは入口右手、窓側の４テーブルのようです。
私は「イングリッシュアフタヌーン」、相方は「ビンテージアッサム」を注文。
ひとつケーキを頼んで分けて食べようかと思ったら、欲しいケーキが売り切れで・・・
悩んでたら、「メニューにないですが、プリンならありますよ」との事で、それならばとプリンを注文。
裏メニューだったんでしょうか・・・
そのプリン、昔ながらの・・・て感じの美味しさ。
紅茶の方は、象の絵のティーポットカバーをかぶって登場。
私の「イングリッシュアフタヌーン」は、ちょっと出過ぎのような気もして、ミルクティーにすると美味しい。
相方の「ビンテージアッサム」もミルクティーで美味しく飲めたようで、たっぷりのミルクを用意してくださったのは、オススメの飲み方だったからでしょうか。
ものすごく美味しいわけではないですが、喫茶店で気軽に紅茶が楽しめる良いお店ですね。
