祇園祭真っただ中、四条駅近くのこちらで昼間からの宴。
四条通りから少し入れば店まで続く石畳
祭りの喧騒からのこの少しの距離がまるで異世界へ続く石畳。
暖簾を潜りカウンターまで辿り着けば静寂の空間。これがまた心地よい。
最初から最後までシンプルなれど驚きの料理の連続
そして何より「旨い」
最初は「蓴菜鮨」から、少しの酸味と甘めの舎利に冷たい蓴菜とが正に初夏にぴったりの一皿
勿論食べた事ないものだが違和感のない初手。
赤雲丹や鴨茄子はストレートに素材の旨味を。
鰻と鮑の派手な天婦羅がきたかと思えば
シンプルな馬鈴薯の天婦羅はまた絶品。
〆はまさかの「鰺フライ」
勿論緒方流解釈にて。
