19時頃、2名で訪問。四条通りから趣ある先斗町の石畳、町並みの風情を楽しみながら三条通り方面へ。三条通りすぐ手前にある「先斗町歌舞練場」の真向かいが今回のお店。店舗展開しており「四条烏丸店」もあります。
店内はカウンター12席、4人掛テーブル3席というキャパシティです。席は半分ほど埋まっている状況でした。
【頂いた料理】
★シャトーブリアン炙り握り寿司
「年末年始限定極上フィレ料理贅沢メニュー」として「シャトーブリアンの炙りにぎり寿司」がありました。「シャトーブリアン」そして「限定」という購買意欲を掻き立てるワードにアンテナが反応してしまいすぐオーダー。
炙り加減が丁度良く、シャリと肉の繊維が上品な脂と混ざり合いながら、口の中で同時にほどけていきます。これはオススメの一品です。
★冷たい豚しゃぶ葱だくさん
これもオススメしたい一品です。葱が斜めにやや大きめに切られていて、より葱のシャキシャキした食感が感じられます。そしてポン酢の味が絶妙です。普通、ポン酢は酸味が強いのですが、このポン酢は甘味があり、酸味とのバランスがとても良いです。
★九条葱&チーズ巻き（チーズソース）
これも美味しかった。先斗町店の一番人気ということでオーダーしました。九条葱を豚肉で巻いて、ねっとりしたチーズソースで仕上げられています。巻かれている豚肉の弾力ある食感と九条葱のシャキシャキ感の共演が素晴らしいです。
★半熟玉子巻き
半熟玉子を豚肉で巻き、半玉に切り分けそれぞれに違った味付けがされています。ワンオーダーで2回楽しめる巻き串焼きになっています。
★トマト&チーズ巻き
トマトを焼いて肉を巻くとどうなるのか、好奇心でオーダーしました。暖かいトマトが意外と美味しく、甘味が増すように感じました。
★ＳＡＫＥハイボール
黄桜が提案する日本酒を炭酸水で割って作るハイボール。日本酒好きからすれば、割って飲むなんて邪道と言われるかもしれませんが、ベースは「特定名称酒」ではなく「普通酒」。
「普通酒」をアレンジして、楽しみ方の幅を広げるのも面白そうと思いオーダーしました。
日本酒の風味を軽やかに感じられる爽やかな1杯です。この飲み方も気軽に日本酒を楽しむ一つの方法として個人的には「あり」と感じました。
他、焼き鳥から「牛タン」、「もも」、「ぼんじり
」、「ずり」、〆に「炊き込みご飯のおにぎり茶漬け」を頂きました。
【総評】
一品物の料理も美味しいですが、特に「野菜巻き串」を中心にオーダーするのが、このお店を楽しみ方の正解と思います。先斗町なのでハズレが少ないのは当たり前ですが、とても美味しく、新たな自分の味覚を発見できました。御馳走様でした。
