京都の方なら木屋町の立誠小学校の跡地の大きな建物といえばわかるでしょう。
そう、あれです。京都在住のはるか昔、夜の木屋町を歩くと、荘厳ではあるけどちょっとお化けでもでそうな、高瀬川の柳がしだれ掛かってちょっと怖い建物でした。
それが見事に生まれ変わりました。校舎の象徴的な部分は残し、近代的かつ伝統的な京都の繁華街の中心にふさわしい商業施設であると思います。
高瀬川沿いに芝生広場をつくり開放感あふれる、まさに古典と最先端の融合ですね。
さて、その商業施設の最上階、朝食からディナーまでこなすオールディダイニングが アンカーキョート
バーコーナー、リビングも含めると壮大な１２０席を超える空間、大勢の朝食会なんてのも対応。明るい日差しが気持ちの良いレストランです。
夜のディナーはしっかりしていますがラウンジで単品でゆっくりワインを楽しむ事もできそうです。
昼は1980円のパスタランチもありまので木屋町散歩の延長にも寄れそうな店です。
眺望は鴨川はもちろん東側の山々が間近に見渡せます。京都の楽しみが増えました！
