朝食を食べるのなら、暗いレストランより明るいレストランの方かいいですね。
「ザ ゲートホテル 京都 高瀬川」の朝食はこの「アンカーキョート」で頂きますが、まさにこのお店は朝食を取るのにふさわしいレストランなのです。
ホテルの8階にありガラス張りで、東山の絶景が広がる明るいレストランです。
レストランではメインをエッグベネディクト、フレンチトースト、限定30食の和食朝ごはんの中から選択します。和食も超人気ですが、フレンチトーストが食べたかったのでそれを選びます。
冷たいドリンク、サラダ、フルーツ、パンなどはビュッフェから取ります。種類はそう多くないです。
牛乳はとても濃くて満足。クロワッサンは小ぶりだけれどいい味です。
フレンチトーストはアメリカの高級ホテルで食べている気分にさせられる本格的な味。ミルクもバターもタップリで追いバターがとろけてシロップや粉砂糖と合わさります。
カロリー過多な背徳感をものともせず幸せな気分に浸れる朝食タイム～！ 厚切りベーコンや野菜炒めも添えてあります。
紅茶はイングリッシュブレックファストに熱いミルクとハチミツを頂けますか。そうお願いした通り、私の大好きな飲み方をきちんとかなえてくれます。しかも大振りのカップで・・・。
そのお店のレベルがわかる朝食タイムなのでした。
