今日は、四条富小路を上った場所にある、京鴨のひつまぶしのお店へ行ってきました。
■京鴨ひつまぶし かもしぎん
京都宇治の高級ブランド鴨の「京鴨」を使った、ひつまぶしを味わえるお店のようです。
もともとは、三条木屋町のあたりにあったお店が、4月30日に移転オープンしたようです。
お店の真ん中に大きなテーブルがあって、開放的な雰囲気のテーブル席です。
卓上の調味料入れなど、小物や空間デザインにもこだわっている印象です。
さて、ランチメニューを確認すると、京鴨ひつまぶしと、その鬼肉盛り。さらには和牛を使った限定メニューがありました。
ブランド鴨を使っているということで、1,680円からのランチです。
インスタ映えしそうな鬼肉盛りは、スタンダードな京鴨ひつまぶしに、卵と鴨肉増量がついて2,350円。
せっかくなので、店頭のポップにあった鬼肉盛りを注文してみました。
●京鴨極上ひつまぶし 鬼肉盛り
お櫃の淵にびっしりと並べられた鴨の上ロースは、まるで花のようです。
空のお茶碗と薬味が添えられていました。
出汁もセットです。
スタッフさんが、固形燃料に火をつけて、出汁が入った急須を温めてくれました。
中央の卵黄を潰して味わうことにしました。
１杯目は、そのまま茶碗によそって味わう
２杯目は、薬味を添えて味わう
３杯目は、お出汁で出汁茶漬けにして味わう
という食べる手順みたいで、お茶碗に３〜４杯くらいの量がありました。
まずは、そのまま味わってみました。
張りがあって、弾力と旨みを楽しめる鴨ロースです。
溶かした卵黄を絡めて味わう方法もアリですね！
ワサビや柚子胡椒も、おもしろいアクセント。
いろんなバリエーションがあります。
最後の１杯は、刻みのりと刻み昆布を乗せて、出汁茶漬けにしました。
出汁をかけると、鴨ロースが薄ピンク色になって、海苔のいい香りが立ちました。
個人的には、出汁茶漬けが一番好きな味わい方でした。
最初は食べ切れるか心配だったのですが、意外とペロリと食べられました。
鴨肉をたっぷりと楽しめる贅沢なランチでした(^-^)
