そうだ、京都 行こう！ Vo43l続
せっかく京都御所の近くまできたならば、発祥の地のすぐそばのこちらでお茶します。
関西でも、けっこう知らない方が多いのですが、とらやは室町時代後期の京都で創業。五世紀にわたり和菓子屋を営んできました。後陽成天皇の御在位中（1586〜1611）より、御所の御用を勤めています。明治2年（1869）東京遷都にともない、天皇にお供して、京都の店はそのままに東京にも進出、現在に至ります。
ということで、京都発祥でお江戸に移動した老舗なんですよ。
桜餅は上品なお味で、春の和菓子。
