The last day of my 3-night, 4-day visit to Kyoto during Golden Week. This is Mr. Sakuragawa that I visited for lunch. I visited the store once before when it had an affiliated store in Gion, and it was a store that I felt had an outstanding sense of stability. On the banks of the Takase River The entrance of the store is slightly lower than the street. I arrived a little earlier than the store's opening time, so I waited for the noren to be hung while looking out at the river. The counter was full on this day. First, my husband ordered a beer and I ordered a ginger ale and we toasted. The lunch course I requested (7,700 yen, 10% service charge added) is now starting. Seasonal dishes starting from 8sun. The grated Sushi (sea bream) associated with Boy's Festival is eye-catching. My husband has already switched from beer to cold sake (he has 2 cups). Not only my husband's plate but also my plate... so the appearance (presentation) was a little poor. I felt that. However, this is one of the shops that I would definitely like to visit again in different seasons.
