京都、河原町三条、「ケララ」。この日は、篆刻教室の篆刻展がみやこメッセであるので搬入のために京都三条に行った。
ついでにランチを食うのがこの日の狙いでもある。
さて、楽しみは、「ケララ」さんのカレーだ。昭和の時代からつづく老舗。京都では
ホンモノの老舗とは言ってもらわれへんかもしれんけど、安定した王道の味を提供すると
言うインド料理屋さん。
なるほど格調たかい。
すぐに席に座れたけどラッキーだったらしい。次々とお客さんが入ってくる。
店内はとてもオリエンタル。その空気が居心地良い。
おもてなしが心地よい。
で、ケララランチをご飯半分でいただく。
まず、トマトスープでガツンとやられる。
これはうまい。酸味とスパイスがググッと食欲を盛り上げる。
そしてカレーが運ばれてくる。
ナンに覆われて見えない。中から美味しそうなのが現れる。
カレーは２種類。
ベジカレーはとても具沢山。
とても優しい、それでいてしっかりした味だ。
ノンベジはチキン？ スパイスがしっかり効いて美味しい。
カレーとナンを一緒に食うととても美味しい。ナンが軽くてフワッとしててとても
食べやすいのだ。
なるほど、ご飯が要らんかったかも。その通り、ご飯なしで注文してる人が多い。
その手があったか。
ティッカをかじりつつサラダをいただく。
とても爽やか、とても美味しい。
よいお店に出会った。
