京都三条にあるインドカレー専門店。2階にある。
日曜19時くらいで空いてるかなと三条、四条からホテルへの帰り道にふらっとたちよると、ほぼ満席で驚き。
最近、インド料理を食べてなかったので久しぶり。
インドに数年間住んでいたこともあり、本場のインドカレーを知っているだけにこだわりがある。
聞くと、お店のスタッフはみなチェンナイ出身とのこと。
日本にあるインド料理屋のうち、インド人がやっているお店は意外に少なくて
結構ミャンマーの方がやっておられたりする。
まず、ビールはキングフィッシャー。
インドのビールといえばこれ。昔は航空会社もあったが破綻。
これこれ。味の薄いビール。でもインド在住時にはずっと飲んでただけに懐かしくおいしい。
あとは、カッテージチーズ、チキンカレー、ダールを注文。
あとチャパティ。インドではナンよりチャパティがよく食べられている。
場所によるのかな。
味は、かなり本場に近く、おいしい。
最後はマサラティ。砂糖なしで自分の好みで。
全体的にインド本場を大切にしており、〇。
