世界三大料理の１つに数えられる、トルコ料理。
他の２つ、中華料理やフレンチと比較すると日本ではあまり馴染みがない。特に京都では専門店となるとほとんどないそうだ。今回はそんな京都のトルコ料理のお店を１つご紹介してまいりましょう。2002年に開業した『イスタンブール・サライ』、場所は あたりにあります。
アダナケバブランチ（ADANA KEBAB LUNCH）、1950円。
アダナケバブとは、挽肉を長い鉄串に刺したバーベキュー。日本でいうなら、ハンバーグやつくねのイメージか。ラム独特の癖のある風味が肉汁となって届き、ここに重ねたスパイスがどんどん押し寄せます。プレートにライスが盛り付けられますが、米との相性はぴったり。これは美味。
セットには副菜がいくつか付くが、これがまたヘルシーで良い。
「レンズ豆のスープ」素材のあまみに、ほんのちょっとの辛味のアクセント。
「盛り合わせ」ひよこ豆のペースト、フニャッと柔らかいチーズ入り春巻き、トマトベースの野菜のピリ辛ペースト。
「ライスプリン」トルコではお馴染みの一品。米入りのミルクプリンで不思議な味だが、優しい甘さに好感度が高い。
世界三大料理に名に恥じぬ、美味しいランチをいただきました。ご馳走様です。
