三条郵便局からほど近く。中に入ると、明るく、思いの外広い。
入り口近くには、蕎麦を打つ作業場が見えるようになっていて、迷わず「ざるそば、大盛りで」とお願いする。
待つ間、おかみさんが黙ってスッと新聞を机に置いてくれる。
そういうお店は少なくなったが、新聞好きとしてはたまらない。
お蕎麦は淡い色で、風味、のどごしともいい感じ。優しいツユだ。
