ランチでお目当てのお店は全て満席でランチ難民となり先斗町をうろうろしていた時に発見したお店です。
お店に入ると、席が室内か屋外かを選びます。屋外と伝えると鴨川に面したテラス席に案内されました。事実上の床です。(鴨川の床は5月からです)鴨川の眺めはお店の名前通り最高です。ランチ難民でしたがあたりをひきました。
この日いただいたのは、
ランチ限定 京三昧御膳
いかにも観光客向けのネーミングですが、この眺めであればそれだけで満腹です。
料理は湯葉から始まり、炊き合わせ、お造り、サワラの幽庵焼き、天ぷら盛り合わせ、ご飯、赤だし、香の物、抹茶わらび餅と続きます。どの料理も悪くなくそれなりに美味しくいただけました。中でも炊き合わせに入っていた近江蒟蒻の歯触りや味付けもよく、お造りに入っていた生麩も美味しい。
この日最高だったのは、かわいい大学の後輩(初見です)の初々しい接客です。話してみると同じ大学の学部も学科まで同じ。今年の新入生で今日からバイトを始めたばかりとのこと。こう言う出会いは京都ならではです。最後に妻と並んだ写真まで撮ってくれました。ありがとうございます。他のお店の方もフレンドリーで楽しいサービスをしてくれました。
いろんな意味でいいお店です。
