平日の3時前に。
近くを通りかかって、たまたま空席が見えたので寄ってみた。
新型コロナの影響で、長くイートインコーナーが閉まっていたので、久々の訪問になる。
ショーケース内のケーキは少し少なめ。
しかも2グループに分けられていて、片方は持ち帰り用で、他方はイートイン用とのこと。
選ぶ楽しみ半減で、ちょっと残念。
フレジェは、フランス版ゴージャスショートケーキで、春らしくて良かった。
こういうスイーツには、香りの華やかな紅茶が良く合う。
白人の父娘がフラフープ持参で来店して、ケーキを選んでイートインしていた。自由だぁ。
ケーキ屋に来るお客さんは、皆笑顔で気持ちに余裕があって良いなぁ。

平日の 1時半に。
改装されてから初めて訪問。
手前が販売ゾーンで、奥が飲食スペースになって、落ち着いて飲食できるようになっていた。
イートインの場合は、先にケーキを選ぶ必要があり、結構悩んでモンモランシーを頼んだ。
飲み物は、着席してから注文する。
オリジナルブレンドティーは、大きめのマグカップにたんまり入れてくれるので、量的には十分。
ただし、カップが重くて片手で支えるのが辛い。
モンモランシーは、ピスタチオのムースが抜群に美味い。
グリオット(フランスのさくらんぼ)の酸味が強くて、全体を爽やかな印象にまとめてくれる。
注文した際に「1つだけですか？」と聞かれたが、実は支払いが現金のみで、手持ちが心細かったので1つにしたのだった。
ケーキ屋で、支払いが現金のみというのは結構キツイ気がするが、食べ過ぎないようにという親心なのかも知れない。
