[5 minutes walk from Karasuma Oike Station] The restaurant is a self-service eat-in establishment.
The interior of the shop is a self-service eat-in style. There are a few foreign customers, mainly from Europe and America, and it feels just like a Parisian cafe. The showcase is decorated with authe |
This boulangerie (bread, pie and cake shop with cafe) inherits the "tradition", "atmosphere" and "production method" of PAUL, a French cuisine bakery that opened in northern France in 1889 (135 years ago!!). Some people may think that it is a little difficult to enter because of the stylish design of the shop, but it is a shop where people of all ages, both young and old, can enter without feeling awkward. Today, I ordered a "choux à la crème" (basically Cream Puffs) for 539 yen and a "cafe crème" (like a cafe au lait with foamed milk) for 550 yen. In this chic yet warm atmosphere, I drank a warm cafe crème and ate a delicious choux à la crème, which helped me to relax after a long day at work (^^) Thank you!! By the way, the cream of the choux à la crème is two layers of fresh cream and custard, and the pie crust is firm. It's not flashy, but it has a simple taste, so I feel like I could eat about three of them in one go. Also, about the toilet! It's spacious and the interior is well thought out, so it's very comfortable. (The toilet is important too!)
