京都は町家を活用したお洒落なお店が増えた。こちらのお見せもそうだが、看板が出ていなければ通り過ぎてしまう。出ていても、私と同じように、しげしげと敷地の中の方を覗く人が多い。
入ってみると、土間から少し上がったところに縦長のカウンターがあり、さらに奥の庭へとテーブルが続いている。
名物の唐揚げ定食は1000円。
唐揚げとご飯食べ放題ということで、唐揚げの個数を選べる。
デファクトは3個で、4個だとキリが良くない気がして5個にした。
回りを見ると、4個頼んでいる男性が多かった。
熱々の唐揚げは、京都のイメージと裏腹に塩気強め。
ご飯と合うが、唐揚げを二つ半食べたところで、一膳目のご飯が尽きた。
ホールスタッフも厨房スタッフも、10代から20代の若い世代ばかりなので、濃い味付けなのかな。
いやいや、京都は東京資本の店も多いから、ここもそうなのか、などと想像を巡らせながら、二膳目のご飯を食べ終えた。
