「京のおもてなし」がかもす、くつろぎの時間
マンガミュージアムの北、町衆が行き交う両替町通に |
京都市中京区「茶寮翠泉 烏丸御池店」さん
京都市営地下鉄烏丸線「烏丸御池駅」から徒歩5分、マンガミュージアムの北側にある甘味処「茶寮翠泉 烏丸御池店」さん。
日曜日の休憩タイムとしてお伺いさせていただきました。
店内は二人用のテーブルがたくさんある和モダンカフェでメニューは抹茶とわらび餅がメインです。
「わらび餅（玉露ほうじ茶のセット）」（1100円）を注文。
和三盆を合わせた練られた「ぷるぷるもちもちわらび餅」の上品な甘さと口の中で溶けていくような感覚がすごく美味しいです。
更に黒糖をかけることで、その濃厚な甘みと味わいが何か気持ちをホッとさせてくれます。
ほうじ茶は小さなカップに何度も継ぎ足しながら飲むことができ、最後の方はタンニンがたくさん抽出されて少し苦くなり、ほうじ茶特有の味変が感じられ美味しかったです。
少し茶葉が少ないような感じもしましたが、これくらいでこの味が出るのなら充分なのかもしれません。
お店の方の対応も良く、普段はなかなか訪れない場所ですが、近くに来たときにはまたお伺いさせていただいても良いお店だと思います。
