最寄駅は京都地下鉄東西線、烏丸御池駅と京都市役所前駅の間、三条通沿いにあるチョコレート店で、東京にも出店しているが、ドラマ「Dr. チョコレート」で紹介されたのは、ここ京都別邸限定商品。そのショップの2階にカフェがあり、猛暑の祇園祭三連休最終日、午後2時過ぎに訪問したところ運良く空席があり、待たずに着席。2時半には満席になっていた。店内は京町家風の木目調で、2階から1階のショップを垣間見ることができる趣ある雰囲気。
・かき氷 抹茶×ビターチョコ 1,540円
・ショコラノワール 1,210円(税込)
かき氷は、白玉、あずき、オレンジのコンポート、ビターチョコのアイス、抹茶のアイス、カスタードクリームの上にふわふわのかき氷をちりばめ、京抹茶のシロップ、京抹茶のクリーム、イチゴとお花を飾って仕上げたもの。外観は抹茶かき氷のイチゴのせだが、食べ進むほどに新たな味が顔を出し、掘り出しのお楽しみ感満載。
ショコラノワールは、ベルアメールのオリジナルショコラを使用した、口どけなめらかなビターチョコレートケーキ。柔らかい甘さのアングレーズソースと、季節のフルーツ、アイスクリームを合わせていただく。チョコレートが、苦味がほどよく効いた大人の味でとろけすぎない重厚な味わい。
そして帰り際にはもちろん「Dr.チョコレート」の映えチョコをお土産に購入。
