京都市営地下鉄四条駅下車徒歩５分のところにある当店。駐車場なし。当店は、カフェとデリと食品雑貨のお店。ショーケースから好きな物を選んで、横のテーブル席で飲食するシステム。受付カウンターでドリンクやケーキだけを頼んでもOK。食品雑貨だけ購入することもできる。席数がそれほどないから、先に席を確保してから注文するとよい。注文したのは、

コーヒーはスッキリした本格的なもので旨かったが、当店は何よりも建物の雰囲気が印象的。大正時代初期に銀行（旧北國銀行京都支店）として建てられた重厚感そのままに、歴史を感じる外観。前を通る度、ずっと気になっていた立派な建物で、敷居が高そうで入るのを躊躇っていたが、思い切って入店。内観も想像していたよりも素晴らしい。旧銀行の建物らしく金庫室（現在は食糧庫のように使われている。）が鎮座している。この建築設計は、あの東京駅舎の建築設計で知られる辰野金吾氏。この雰囲気を味わうだけでも値打ちがあると思う。
