The April-only Hanasansho course includes one beer and three half-cup glasses of sake for a total of 40,000 yen. They put a lot of Hanasansho in their beef hotpot, and apparently some people come from Tokyo just for that. It's a bit odd to say they want to spend tens of thousands of yen just for that, but the sweetness of the Japanese beef and the spiciness and refreshing taste of Hanasansho go really well together and are very delicious. There are five groups at the counter, three of which are customers from overseas. There is an English-speaking staff member, and the chef is always there to look after the two Japanese groups, so it feels like we got a good deal.
