Today's lunch is "Kitchen Tomato". Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located in Marutamachi Shinmachi corner, Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City. It used to house a chain restaurant, but the exterior looks the same. Heated tobacco seems to be OK. There is an L-shaped counter and tables in front of you when you enter. There are 4 types of lunch menus. All of them are attractive, but I'll go for the "Special! Tai Chazuke Set Meal" for 980 yen. Like Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) cold drinks are served in square highball mugs. What came out immediately was a set meal that was more luxurious than I expected. There are 3 types of Small dish, simmered wakatake, hiyayakko, and duck loin. It's Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) dish, so it has a strong flavor. The main dish is pickled sea bream. If you put it on rice as is, the meat will be soft and the sauce will go well with the rice. There is a wide variety of condiments. Adding condiments will add texture and flavor and change the taste. Add the dashi stock that comes with it from the beginning. The sea bream sashimi will be slightly cooked and have a chewy texture. You can enjoy even more flavor when the sauce is combined with the dashi. This is a high-quality lunch that can be enjoyed easily.
