(This is a post from the blog) I went to the Japanese and Western Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that was reopened near Karasuma Oike. ■ Nidaime Heiwa Karasuma Oike Station of the Kyoto Subway is a 2-minute walk. It is mainly open Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) at night, and is also open for lunch at noon. There are counter seats near the entrance of the store. In the back, there was also a tatami seat for a group. There is a fryer on the other side of the counter that serves freshly fried fries and cutlets. By the way, the lunch menu is a two-pronged one: "Daily Lunch (880 yen)" and "Japanese and Western Bento (boxed lunch) (1,600 yen)". The main of the daily specials was posted in the store. The main event on the day of the visit was "fried fish and shrimp cutlet". This time, I ordered a "daily lunch" that you can enjoy at a reasonable price. ● Daily lunch (880 yen) This is a set lunch that includes the daily side dish "fried fish and shrimp cutlet", salad, red dashi, side dish (potesara), and rice. For white fish, it was seasoned with tartar and sauce. fried fish is meaty and has a freshly fried crispy texture. It's nice that it's quite a large size! The shrimp cutlet has plenty of shrimp inside. The taste of the shrimp was rich, and the rice was seasoned to progress. The mini pasta with meat sauce was also delicious. Potesara has a fluffy texture. The red broth is heavily seasoned. Overall, it was a delicious lunch (^-^) The shop is close to Karasuma Oike station, and the daily lunch is priced at 880 yen. I felt that it was a lunch that would be liked by people working around the station.
