3月25日に移転された「SALAO」さん、お店に到着すると満席の看板が置かれておりウェディングシートに名前を書こうとしていたところ丁度席が空いた様でそのまま店内へ。
案内していただいたテーブル席に座りメニューを拝見、こちらのお店の名物の「大人のチキンライス(サラダ付き)」(1,320円)を「ガーリックピラフ」(110円)にしていただく事にしました。
最初に運ばれて来たのはサラダ、ポテトサラダはごろっと大きなじゃがいものかたまりも入っており滑らかで、シャキシャキとしたキャベツやきゅうりなどの野菜を酸味の効いたさっぱりたしたドレッシングでいただきます。
「大人のチキンライス」は一般的なチキンライスとは違いケチャップなどは使われてはおらず鶏ももの皮に包まれた物が白いお皿に乗せられています。
パリパリにローストされた鶏皮の中にしっとりしたニンニクが効いたガーリックピラフが入っており、濃厚でビターな中に仄かな甘みも感じられる大人の味わいのデミグラスソースをつけていただきます。
ガーリックピラフの薄味に仕上げられ中にはうずらの卵もひとつ入っており、パリッとした鶏皮ともも肉と共にビターなソースを絡めて美味しくいただきました。
