旅ごはん。
二条城前駅から徒歩5分ほどの場所にあるお蕎麦屋さんです。二条城からも徒歩10分くらい。
平日のお昼時に伺うとさすがに満席。外で少し待たせていただくと、ほどなく入店できました。
店内はテーブル6卓と6人掛けの小上がり1卓。
客層は観光客7：地元の方3ぐらいな感じかな。
観光客の中には欧米の方も2組いらっしゃいましたが、食事にお蕎麦屋さんチョイスって結構リスキーだと思うのは私だけでしょうか。
ま、そんなことはいいとして、メニューを拝見すると蕎麦・うどん・丼もの・定食と幅広いラインナップ。値段もお手頃です。
月見そば 800円
少し待って提供されたお蕎麦は、卵と海苔と三つ葉の乗った潔いお姿。
最初に卵の黄身をツルンといただいてから蕎麦に取り掛かります。
蕎麦は端正な細打ち。更科という店名ですが、東京でイメージする白いお蕎麦ではなく、所謂普通のお蕎麦ですね。
角もしっかりあり、蕎麦の風味も感じるなかなか美味しい蕎麦です。
つゆはとても上品なお味。関西のつゆはやはりまろやかで美味しいですね。
蕎麦をつゆの風味とともにズズズっといただき、つゆも全部飲みほす勢いで食べ切り満腹満足。
花番のおかあさんも明るく元気で、全方位に気を配られる接客で居心地良かったです。
