夜の図書室で一日を終える・・・京都の真ん中で、そんな何とも贅沢な時を過ごした。
三条商店街でモーニングを食べ
黄桜商店で生酒で喉を潤し
京乃四季で切りたてのお蕎麦と鱧天をいただき
フランソア喫茶室で昭和にタイムスリップしては
すいばで幼い頃を思い起こし
美術館で海の向こうの志那の国に思いを馳せた。
ほんの・・・ほんの一日の、出来事である。
京都とは、何という奥深さを持つ場所なのだろう。
いや、まだまだと、〆に向かう。
夜の図書室、とは参った。
重々しく豪華、でも整然とした室内。
日中、私が仕事の合間に利用する同じ名前の場所とは共通点がまるで無い。
気持ちに余裕がある時にだけいただくポットの紅茶と
お盆にのせて持って来てくれたケーキ類の中からグレープフルーツのタルトを選んだ。
ふくよかな、ちょっと背伸びするような香りのアールグレイに
酸味と甘さの穏やかなグレープフルーツタルト。
奇跡のように涼しい８月の、京都の夜は肌寒くて
袖無しの蒼色のワンピースに蘇芳色のストールを羽織った。
２杯目のアールグレイをうとうとと啜りながら
１日の出来事を私は物語を紐解くようになぞっていた。
