5 minutes from Hankyu Omiya Station ◆ Enjoy seasonal Kyoto-style original skewers and carefully selected sake in a relaxed, homey atmosphere. Semi-private rooms available
Kushi Hirao is located at the back of an alley near Mibu-dera Temple, which has ties to the Shinsengumi. We serve carefully crafted seasonal skewers along with carefully selected sake from all over Ja |
You can enjoy a variety of skewered dishes. Seafood includes live sea bream, scallops, shrimp, and cod. Vegetables include lotus root, shrimp potato, and onion. There is a wide variety of meats, including Japanese beef and chicken. You can also change the flavor to suit your taste, such as special sauce, rock salt, and garlic soy sauce. The appetizer starts with sashimi, followed by skewered dishes. In between, you'll be served light dishes like seared puffer fish and crab miso, so you won't get bored of the skewered dishes and you can keep eating (^^♪. Beer goes well with the skewered dishes, and sake goes well with the seared puffer fish and crab miso. (I had Dassai.) Curry Udon was also served at the end. The portion was just the right amount, about the size of a rice bowl. The broth was also delicious and warming. And above all, the price of 5,500 yen (tax included) for the taste and quantity is excellent value for money. The owner was very friendly and great. I'd like to go again.
