昼の仕事を終えて、夜は京都在住の友人二人と旧交を温める。彼らのお勧めのお店がこちら。大通りから一本北の筋、注意していなければ見落としそうな隠れ家風の佇まい。
風変わりな名前のコース群から悶絶肉フルコースを注文。和牛ユッケ、ほんと久しぶりに食べたな。かつての食中毒事件以降ユッケの調理基準がかなり厳しくなって、高級店でなければなかなかお目にかかれない。うん、美味い。焼きしゃぶってなんじゃと思ったら、店員さんが薄切り肉を鉄板の上でしゃぶしゃぶのように2度3度と踊らせ、レアなお肉を溶き卵につけていただく。わあ、これも美味いや。その他も豪勢なお肉の数々、更に追加のお肉も頼んで、今日もまたお腹いっぱい。友人たちの苦労話もとても面白くてお腹いっぱい。
この席は友人が奢ってくれて、心から感謝。若い頃に同じ釜の飯を食った友人は生涯の繋がりだ。
