京都観光のディナー候補先を探して、最近行ったジャンル外からイタリアン、中華の２択に。当日の気分でイタリアンに。宿所からの距離も考えて、こちらの店に。
しゃれた店と昔ながらの店が混在する不思議な街の雰囲気の中、なかなか店を見つけられない。雑居ビルのような古めかしいビルに目的の店名が。正面から階段登って２階へ。スナック風の外観の店を発見。
予約していた旨を伝えて、カウンター席に案内される。カウンター５席、ソファー席、テーブル席、満席の様子。案内は非常にスムーズ。
着席して、上着を渡して、ビールをオーダー。バーニャカウダが食べ放題との説明。食べ放題にいいイメージなかったが、これはいい意味での裏切り。美味しい。チーズフォンデュ風ながら、しっかりアンチョビの味がする。
生ハムと具材を選べるアヒージョをオーダー。ちょっと提供までに時間がかかっていたのが残念。目前で一生懸命調理していたから、不快感は全くなし。
その後、数点をオーダーして、ピザとパスタで〆。料理のクオリティは全般的に高め。ドリンクはもう一工夫欲しいところ。料理ほどの拘りを感じなかった。
