テレビ番組で台湾ロケやってて、士林夜市を訪れていた。それを見て台湾料理行こか、という気分になり一人で訪問。
以前台湾に旅行したことがあるが、士林夜市で真っ先に思い出すのは、特大のフライドチキン。士林夜市を代表する鶏排（ジーパイ)のお店があり、多分台湾旅行した人なら大体知っていると思う（ガイドブックにまず載っている）。
というわけでジーパイ飯1250円を注文。
ちなみに開店の11時半に到着して一番乗りだった。
店は広く、明るく、清潔感があってオシャレな雰囲気。台湾料理というよりカフェっぽい。
後から入ってくるお客さんを見ていると、小さい子連れも多い。
ジーパイは薄く、パリパリで食感がよく、単体で食べる分には美味しいのだが、ご飯が進むかというとタレがついてないので、そうでもなく、甘辛いソースが欲しいなぁと思う。煮卵はしっかり味がついて美味しかった。
男性の店員さん、台湾出身の方なのかと思うが、すごく感じがよかった。それだけでまた行こうかと思うくらい。
ほかのルーロー飯とかコンロー飯とかも食べてみたいし、再訪したいと思います。
