ミシュラン京都・大阪2010で1つ星に輝いた「祇園 たに本」に伺って参りました。
戴いたのは、御昼限定の5,250円（2名以上の予約必須）のお任せのコースです。
まず、先付けに水無月豆腐が供されました。
山芋で作った養老豆腐に小豆と山葵が添えられています。
御存じの方も多いと思いますが、元々は京都の水無月菓子に由来しており、
小豆には魔除け、三角形に切るのは暑気を払う為の氷を表しています。
こちらのものは味自体は悪くなかったものの、山葵が混ぜ山葵であったのがとても残念に思いました。
八寸は、一寸豆、卵黄の裏漉しを重ねた蒸し物、鰻と牛蒡の八幡巻、とり貝の寿司という内容。
この価格帯の八寸に過剰な期待は禁物であり、可もなく不可もなくといった内容。
御造りは、シビ、鯛、剣先烏賊の三点盛。
八寸同様、この価格帯の御造りに多くは求めませんが、
先付けと同様、混ぜ山葵が使われていたのは、個人的にどうかと思いました。
椀物は蓮根餅の椀。出汁は鰹よりも昆布の旨味が勝ったもので、口当たりが滑らかなものでした。
焼物は鰆の幽庵焼きと粟麩の田楽。鰆はパサついた食感でこれはイマイチ。
炊き合わせは才巻海老と絹かつぎ、茄子。これも出汁の切れ味に少々欠けるように感じました。
食事は、御飯、香の物、味噌汁といったオーソドックスな内容。
食後には、わらび餅が供され昼のおまかせコースは終了となったのでした。
全体的に料理に派手さはなく、
また、目を見張るような内容のものは一品たりとも供されませんでした。
昼の印象が良ければ夜への再訪があるのですが、
こちらの店に関しては、それはなさそうです・・・。^^;
正直、料理の印象はあまり宜しくありませんでしたが、
こちらの御主人の明るい性格と御客様を持て成そうという接客の姿勢には好感が持てました。
皆様が御指摘の通り、割烹入門編ということでは宜しい店のようには思います。
