鯖寿司が有名でテレビに何回も登場している有名店へ平日の11:20におうかがいしました。
先客は2組4名 ラッキーなことにまだ席に余裕がありすぐに着席できました。
いづうさんはやっぱ鯖寿司は外せないけど鯖ばかりではなんかねっていうことで悩みます。
その昔 鯖は福井県の若狭湾から運ばれてきました。
若狭湾に面する小浜は小鯛の笹漬けが有名。
ハイ 決まり。
鯖と小鯛の雀寿司盛り合わせ 2090円
ちょっと待つと運ばれてきました。
盛り合わせといっても鯖と小鯛が2貫ずつ昆布をまとっているのではがします。鯖の青と小鯛のピンクが魅せます。
ただし2貫ずつなので絶対にお腹は満たされません。
鯖はいつも食べる1本1000円くらいのとは明らかに違います。
酢がきついというかよくきいてるような 身の厚みは意外となかったかな。
私は食べ慣れてるせいか安価なほうが好み。
小鯛は鯖よりおいしく感じました。小鯛の食感もいいし酢といいバランス。
あっという間に完食。
