■氷なしハイボール
めったにバーなど訪れないのだが、祇園をブラブラし、時間を持て余していたので、せっかくならばと訪れたのがバー『祇園サンボア』。
1972年創業、各界の著名人が集まるバーとして知られ、京都のバー文化では切っても切り離せない名店。東京、大阪を含め、10店舗以上ある。
1杯目に、普通のハイボールを。
2杯目は、当店の名物でもある「氷なしハイボール」。角もしくはホワイトホースでつくるそう。ややスモーキーな香りと味わいを持つ、ホワイトホースでお願いする。キンキンに冷えたホワイトホースを注ぎ、キンキンに冷えた炭酸水。
お会計は、2杯で¥3,000（税込）。
落ち着いた空間で、いただくハイボール。
なんだか普段より早く酔いが回り、夜風を気持ちよく感じた気がしたのだった。
