夕方から東山で食事の予定があり、その前に行ける早くから営業しているバーを探していたところ、此方を発見。
行く前に電話予約して訪問する事に。
大通りは観光客で凄い人ですが、一本中に入るだけで落ち着いた雰囲気になるんですね。
ウイスキーが沢山並んでいて、創業51年のオーセンティックなBAR。
カウンターに黒電話が置いてあり、実際少し前に私が予約した時に出られた電話だそうです。
ウイスキーが沢山あり迷ったので、この後食事に行く事を伝えたら、グレングラント10年を勧めて下さりました。
ハイボールが人気のお店ですが、ロックな気分だったのでロックでお願いしました。
芳醇な香りでフルーティ。
食前に飲むのにぴったりなウイスキーでした。
お店の方のサービスも紳士的でした。
早くから営業していて、1人でも行き易いお店でした。
