“祇園白川に面した店”という点に価値がある店。逆に言うとそれ以外はあまり特筆すべきものがないという印象。
料理は一品一品丁寧に作られているが、クラシックというか、どこかノスタルジックな印象。時が止まったような料理で今時な感じは皆無。「そこが良いのだ」と言う人もたくさんいると思うが、自分には合わなかった。内容を考えるとコスパも悪い気がする。
京都が初めての方を接待するには良い選択だとも思うが、自分なら近くの“八咫”を選択するかなぁ。
