鍵善良房さんにお邪魔しました。
・葛切り（黒蜜）1400円
八坂神社西楼門から伸びる四条通り沿いにあります。
創業から300年という長い歴史のある和菓子屋さんです。
一説には、屋号に「鍵」が付いているのは 八坂神社の鍵を預かっていたから・・・という説もあるのだそうです。
くずきりは円筒状の漆の容器で提供されます。
この高級感が京都らしいですよね。
蓋を開けると黒蜜のお皿。
そして白いくずきり。
見た目も味もシンプルですが、シンプルなだけにごまかしのきかない美味しさです。
材料は2つだけ。
雑味がなく、後味爽やかです。
盆地の暑い夏にいただいたら、更に美味しいのでしょうね。
