On my way to a friend's wedding at Zasodo Higashiyama, I wanted to grab some lunch and searched for a restaurant near Zasodo. I found this store that seemed to have a nice atmosphere. It was around noon on a Saturday, but I was lucky to enter the store without lining up. I ordered the signature Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl). My friend had ordered a large serving of chasoba. This fluffy Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) melts the moment you put it in your mouth. Exquisite. If you're having trouble finding lunch in Higashiyama, I highly recommend this place.
