お盆休みに親孝行をと、八坂神社前のいづ重さんで鯖姿寿司のお土産買い。
もう相当以前に頂き物で味わった事があり、美味しいのと、バクバク食べて押し固まったご飯でお腹が一杯になったことを微かに覚えています。今般は両親と味わって一緒に食してみました。
能書きには、昆布は堅いので外してお召し上がり下さい…でしたが、ひと切れを昆布まるごとパクリ。
酢の効き方は、コク・旨味たっぷりながら控え目。昆布も十分に柔らかい。厚みある鯖は口の中で旨い脂がジュワッと広がり…お米・シャリ？、柔らかく炊き込まれたご飯がぎゅっと押し固められていますが、昆布・酢・鯖を受け止めたお米の甘さ…かなり美味しい～あとを引く旨さ。流石、全てが合わさったバランスが品良く程よく最良だと感じました。
お値段、安くはありませんが、これだけ丁寧な作り込み、ボリューミーで上品なお味なら、致し方がありませんね。いつまでもこんな風味・味を守り続けて頂きたいと思いました。
