初めて連れて行ってもらった時には、え？八坂神社の隣にそんなところある？と思ったほど何度も前を通り過ぎていたはずなのに気が付かない場所でした。東大路通りに面した門口から石段を上がっていくと堂々たる和風建築、旅館も兼ねたお料理屋さんです。古い道具類や民藝の品々で設られた店内はお食事前から楽しい。
和食のコース料理でした。品数も多いのですが、〆の柚子雑炊までしっかりいただいて、ちょうど良い量でした。おかわりあったらしたかも…。
